Q&A: Tobias Harris on offseason improvements, guarding threes and Boban’s acting debut

Fresh off signing a five-year deal to remain in Philadelphia, Tobias Harris was back in town over the weekend for 97.5 The Fanatic’s Fan Fest. Harris met with Sixers fans, did a few interviews and shared the stage for a few moments with Allen Iverson.

Afterward, I asked Harris, 27, about how he goes about trying to get better each offseason, guarding threes and what he’s been reading. And Boban.

You have the rep of a guy who improves year over year, and the numbers bear that out. What do you think is the biggest reason for that?

I always just say, for me, to be able at the end of every season study and evaluate the game, evaluate my game, evaluate how I can improve on certain areas especially in the summer. So it’s been just really my offseason, being able to use that time to really enhance my game. And that’s what I do every offseason. That’s what I’ve been doing this offseason. So it always just happens.

You’re a voracious reader.
