One of the ways sports fans are trying to pass the time during the coronavirus outbreak is with debates on hypothetical situations, and Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell got in on the fun this week.
NBA Central tweeted a graphic that featured four “past-present” backcourt pairings and asked its nearly 175,000 followers to choose the best. The pairings featured a current star player and a past star player who played for the same franchise, and Mitchell was paired with former Jazz guard Deron Williams.
While that would be a fun duo to watch, Mitchell was more impressed with the prospect of a Gilbert Arenas-Bradley Beal backcourt with the Washington Wizards.
