Who will win? PGA Tour announces Player, Rookie of the Year nominees


Rory McIlroy’s $15 million payday as the FedEx Cup champion brought an end to the 2018-19 PGA Tour season, and now all eyes are on the end of the year honors.

The Tour announced the final nominees for Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year on Wednesday afternoon, and there’s a strong debate for who deserves each award.

The nominees for the Jack Nicklaus PGA Tour Player of the Year: Brooks Koepka, Matt Kuchar, McIlroy and Xander Schauffele.

The nominees for the Arnold Palmer Award as Rookie of the Year: Cameron Champ, Sungjae Im, Adam Long, Collin Morikawa and Matthew Wolff.

PGA Tour members who played in at least 15 FedEx Cup events this season are eligible to vote, with voting closing on Friday, Sept. 6 at 5 p.m. ET. There is no date set for announcement of the winners.
