Last year, I previewed each week’s Chargers game with the Friday Notebook, detailing the most important matchups and storylines, with comments from players and coaches.
While I would love to continue those notebooks in 2020, COVID-19 restrictions prohibit locker-room access, so I no longer have the opportunity to bounce around and gather the necessary quotes and information.
So I have decided to pivot this season. Instead of a notebook, I will do a mailbag every Friday to prepare you guys for that weekend’s game — starting this week ahead of the Chargers’ home opener against the Chiefs. This will give me a chance to dive deeper into my own analysis, and statistical and film breakdowns, and, just as importantly, allow me to answer your most pressing questions directly.
For now, Taco Of The Week also will be tabled. But I may sprinkle in reviews over the course of the season if I come across a particularly standout food…
