TNT held an hour-long special on Tuesday night in memory of Kobe Bryant that was truly remarkable. Some of the legends of the game were part of the panel at Staples Center, which included TNT regulars Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson, and added Jerry West, Dwyane Wade and Reggie Miller.
Many of the panelists did not hide their emotions as they talked about Kobe or listened to others talk.
Shaq, who was teammates with Kobe on the Lakers and won three championships with him, talked about how he learned of the news and said he hadn’t “felt a pain that sharp in a while.”
