Soldier surprises son in emotional reunion before Thanksgiving at 76ers game


There are few things more special at Thanksgiving than spending time with family and watching sports. The Philadelphia 76ers brought those things together on Wednesday night with an emotional homecoming for a soldier.

Staff Sergeant Ivan Thomas, a Philadelphia native, ran out of the tunnel at Wells Fargo Center and surprised his 12-year-old son at midcourt as thousands of fans cheered at the emotional family reunion.
