Report: NBA could use Las Vegas casino, play games in ‘ballroom with courts’


As the NBA attempts to wrap its head around a solution to getting the season back on amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a new idea has emerged.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, reporting live from his home on SportsCenter Tuesday, said the NBA is considering using a Las Vegas casino to play at least some regular season games and the playoffs.

“Las Vegas has been a destination that has been discussed, built around the idea of literally perhaps using a casino, playing games in potentially a ballroom with courts. There’s lots of different scenario,” Wojnarowski said.
