NBA scout breaks down ‘Space Jam’ stars’ games, from Bugs Bunny to Elmer J. Fudd


LOONEY TUNE LAND —  Bugs Bunny is 3-foot-3, but 4-foot if you count his ears, according to the play-by-play announcer of the hit 1996 children’s film “Space Jam.”

Lola Bunny is 3-2. Tasmanian Devil is listed at 2-4. And Daffy Duck, though undersized, is somehow a power forward.

Collectively, they’re supposed to take on a bunch of monsters with NBA talent.

Director Joe Pytka’s iconic movie, as many viewers know, stars player-coach Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes in an epic basketball game.

When the owner of Moron Mountain, an outer space amusement park, is looking for new attractions to beef up entertainment, he sends his five Nerdlucks to kidnap the Looney Tunes. The Nerdlucks are miniature aliens who can’t be taller than a foot each. They fly into Looney Tune Land on a rocket ship and alert Bugs Bunny and his fellow characters at a town hall meeting that they plan to capture all of them as slaves.
