Anthony Davis woke up from a nap on Friday to a text message on the Lakers group chat from forward Montrezl Harrell.
It was an image of people celebrating with a message from Harrell that served as a caption: “When I saw that tweet…” he wrote.
Davis was in the dark.
“I didn’t know what he was talking about,” Davis said.
Stars, they’re just like us, right? That was true Friday, when Davis and the rest of the Lakers found out via social media that LeBron James would return to the court after missing the previous 20 games.
