Joel Embiid’s injury, Ben Simmons’ late-game free-throw struggles highlight Sixers’ Game 4 loss

The first three games of the Sixers’ series against the Wizards were defined by how easily Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris and Ben Simmons were able to get anything they wanted offensively, pummeling Washington’s undersized defenders to a 3-0 series lead in a first round that had hardly been competitive up to that point.

Game 4, by comparison, was a collective horror show for the Sixers’ big three.

Embiid left the game with 36.
