As the NBA playoffs near and the offseason looms ahead, several head coaching situations are perilous. Others, meanwhile, are less precarious but wrought with the kind of complicated internal dynamics that make them worth monitoring.

This has been an unordinary season due to the shortened offseason, coronavirus pandemic and a rash of injuries for certain teams. Still, the pressure will always rise from ownership and management when the results don’t surpass or even meet expectations.
