How the Redskins played in the preseason leads to more questions than answers


I’ve already forgotten the score of Washington’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Thursday’s preseason game. The truth is, if Will Smith walked up to you with his little “Men In Black” flash stick and wiped away your memory of it, your evaluation of the team wouldn’t be any less informed. Almost nothing that happened in that game mattered.

Dwayne Haskins is ready to take his spot on the sideline as a cheerleader and the Case Keenum era is set to begin. A showdown with the NFC East favorite Philadelphia Eagles looms in nine days. In the next five weeks, the Redskins will play four 2018 playoff teams. It is time to kick the season off for real.
