GAMEDAY: U.S. Closes Out Two-Game Series with Canada


In its last 10 Series-specific games, the U.S. holds a record of 7-0-0-3-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T). All-time, the U.S. trails Canada, 13-4-5-26-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-1) in 47 series-specific meetings. Since the 2014-15 season, the two teams have met 27 times, with the U.S. posting a 18-3-1-4-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) record. 

A year ago, the two teams met in the gold-medal game of the 2019 Para Ice Hockey World Championship where Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) scored with 3:26 to play in regulation to send the game into overtime. Brody Roybal (Northlake, Ill.) scored the game-winning goal 5:08 into overtime to give Team USA its eighth gold medal in World Championship history.
