Crowning achievement: Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo earns NBA MVP honor


Consistency.

Ultimately, consistency is what defined Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo this season, and that is why he’s the 2018-19 NBA Most Valuable Player. Antetokounmpo, 24, is the 10th youngest player in NBA history to earn the honor.

James Harden of the Rockets and Paul George of the Thunder were the other finalists.

Antetokounmpo is the first Bucks player to win the award since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar captured it in the 1973-74 season.
