Celtics hiring former WNBA champ Kara Lawson as assistant coach

A first-round pick of the WNBA’s Detroit Shock back in 2003, Lawson played 13 years professionally. She was a key figure in the Sacramento Monarchs title run in 2005 and earned gold for Team USA in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
