Only Murders In The Building spoilers ahead.

Selena Gomez‘s kiss with Cara Delevingne on the hit Hulu and Disney+ show, Only Murders in the Building, has been dubbed as the “perfect end to Pride Month” by fans.

In season two of Only Murders in the Building, which just launched on Disney+, model Cara plays Alice, an art dealer and gallery owner who unobtrusively but purposefully enters the life of Selena’s character Mabel, and (spoiler alert) the two go to become more than good friends.

The two get to know each other, date and make out in a scene that has now gone viral on social media, with many viewers praising the mainstream LGBTQIA representation on television.

“Selena Gomez and Cara Delevingne making out on Only Murders in the Building while a Billie Eilish song plays, all during Pride Month. They really said GAY RIGHTS!” one person tweeted, with another writing: “Cara and selena making out happy pride!”

“Cara Delevingne and Selena Gomez making out is not something I thought I needed but I am so glad I have it now AND DURING PRIDE MONTH,” said a fan of the show, while an emphatic viewer added: “SELENA AND CARA KISSING??!!! JAW . F***ING . DROPPED . I LOVE TO SEE THIS REPRESENTATION!!! #onlyMudersInTheBuilding.”

Speaking of filming for the scene, Cara told PEOPLE: “It was just fun. Would anyone in the world not like to kiss Selena?”

Selena and Cara, both 29, met when they were 15, and have developed a close friendship over the years, and it was their bond that made the moment “hysterical”. In 2014, the best friends starred in Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video, and they took their friendship to the next level by getting matching rose tattoos in December last year.
