Barcelona have reportedly been met with a positive response by Inter Milan to a possible players-plus-cash bid for striker Lautaro Martinez.

According to Spanish publication Sport on Thursday, Barcelona want to bring the mooted £100million price tag down and Inter Milan could be keen on a deal that sees players heading in the opposite direction to Martinez.

Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Carles Alena were all listed, as well as Philippe Coutinho, Antoine Griezmann, Neto, Samuel Umtiti and Martin Braithwaite.

The 22-year-old Martinez has been in electrifying form this season, scoring 19 goals in 29 games for club and country before football was halted in Italy and, eventually, across the world due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

He has been at the San Siro since August 2018, when the Italian giants signed him from Racing Club in his homeland of Argentina.
