For the third straight year, I’ve been fortunate enough to be named one of the voters for the NBA awards ballot.
With that comes a lot of responsibility and a lot of pressure. There is pressure in getting this right because you want to make sure the deserving parties get rewarded for their hard work and incredible execution on the court.
But let’s be honest about the other aspect of pressure here. With the voting results being public, there’s a ton of pressure to not vote in a way that gets you roasted mercilessly on the internet because of your votes.
Ballots are due today, Monday, May 17. However, I will inform everybody now this isn’t necessarily my final ballot that I’m submitting to the NBA. This is just where my head is and where I’m leaning currently. However, there are quite a few awards in which I flip-flop every other day when it comes to the final order and actual winners.
