Get ready for Feb (Picture: Getty/

A new month is nearly here, and while February may not have all the New Year buzz that comes with January, we’re still big fans of the second month of the year.

Too-harsh resolutions have been scrapped, the romance of Valentine’s Day looms, and after the gloom of January, we’re looking forward to catching up with friends over drinks and nibbles (no more Dry January, after all).

But what will the month ahead hold? How can you make your February the best it can be?

Astrology and tarot team up to guide you.

Ahead you’ll find your tarotscope for the month of February, 2022.

Each star sign has three tarot cards drawn, with a breakdown of what this means for the next few weeks.

Aquarius, for example, will see justice and order restored, while for Pisces, February will be split into two halves – first a period work, then hustle and bustle.

Let go of old wounds (Picture: Getty/

Tarot cards for Aries for February: King of Cups, Five of Coins, Four of Coins

Meaning: Heal and change.

The dreaded rut has settled into your life someplace, with the stubborn Four of Coins, and the Five of Coins hints it’s around an attitude or persistent need to pick at an old wound, rather than letting it heal over. You feel aggrieved, you feel hard done by, and you’re not letting it go.

They say that holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.

The King of Cups asks you to really take some time this month ahead to look at this situation.

Look closely at your role in proceedings, and the things you did that weren’t so shiny and fabulous either. Look at the life lessons you’ve gained. Look at the bullet you’ve dodged by getting out of this sooner vs later. Look at all the good fortune you’ve enjoyed since.

Let this go, heal, and things will feel different very soon.

It’s time to get real (Picture: Getty/

Tarot cards for Taurus for February: Judgment, Three of Swords, Seven of Wands

Meaning: Have a hard conversation

Competition and rivalry can make people do strange things, display unexpected behaviours that seem out of character, and you’ve endured this recently with the combative Seven of Wands. You have really had to fight for your corner and stand your ground.

Judgment shows this episode is ending, but you should take some time to discuss it with that person. Tell them how it made you feel, ask them what started it, what you did to fuel it, what it was all about. Try and get to a new understanding. Be compassionate, listen more than you talk.

The Three of Swords shows this is a necessary dialogue. The other person will either impress you with their reasoning, apologise and console you for their actions, or show a ruthlessness and lack of remorse than makes you think ‘adios’. Find out who they really are. Don’t sweep this under the carpet.

Use your imagination (Picture: Getty/

Tarot cards for Gemini for February: Eight of Swords, King of Wands, Seven of Cups

Meaning: Ideate your way out

Imagination and creativity are your greatest assets and tools in this life, Gemini. They can get you into (and out of) almost any situation and the Seven of Cups shows you need more than ever this month.

Why? Well, the Eight of Swords sees you identifying self-sabotaging behaviours and limiting self beliefs that you want to banish and overcome, but you need to do some mental gymnastics to replace these negative presences with positive ones. Use your imagination.

The King of Wands advises you to see all of this as an adventure. Don’t make sacrifices without instigating rewards. Don’t make this a dull or boring process. Introduce new and exciting activities to replace or override what you’re trying to ditch.

Make life fun and living. You’ll get past this.

Get ready for a truth bomb (Picture: Getty/

Tarot cards for Cancer for February: Six of Swords, Ace of Swords, The High Priestess

Meaning: Questions will be answered.

The High Priestess and Ace of Swords are both incredibly powerful truth cards, bringing insight and hidden knowledge to the fore in your life this month ahead.

Focus your gaze on places you have ongoing unanswered questions or feel you’re subject to a mystery or deceit. Get the truth!

It’s as much about research, asking questions, and having hard conversations as it is about reflection and meditation. Seek stimulus from external sources and then retreat to mull it over and analyse the information.

The Six of Swords shows this is all leading you towards a departure in your life- something is drawing to a close and this new information will accelerate that. It won’t feel sad or hard, you’re ready for this to end. This is the final chapter.

It’s all about love this month, Leo (Picture: Getty/

Tarot cards for Leo for February: Knight of Coins, Knight of Cups, Ten of Cups

Meaning: Love life improvement.

Love life action is on the agenda this month. Well it is Valentine’s, after all.

The Ten of Cups sees you going to the next level in romance, whatever your relationship status so, overall, expect things to improve. And if you’re single, look out for Water sign (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio).

The two Knights (Cups and Coins) make me think of rivalry and something or someone vying for your attention. You might find yourself the subject of a love triangle, or discovering you have a secret admirer.

You might find your current relationship is pulled in different directions – perhaps one of you is up for a year of holidays, socialising and spending, and the other wants to save, bed down, nest and invest. A compromise will be found, and this will draw you closer.

Seek balance, moderation, two-way dialogue, variety and compassion in your close relationships, and things which seem like potential conflicts will melt into sustainable and satisfying compromises.

Keep the faith (Picture: Getty/

Tarot cards for Virgo for February: The Star, Five of Wands, Ten of Coins

Meaning: Have faith in the process

You’re in the middle of a change, an issue or a complicated situation right now, and it feels tough.

The Five of Wands shows up when we’re going through something and is a reminder that nothing lasts forever, so don’t feel overwhelmed or trapped here. Seek the exit.

The Star and Ten of Coins are beautiful blessings that this change or issue is actually a catalyst for you getting back on track. Change was necessary. A new outlook or direction was the right thing for you long-term, even if it has been difficult and challenging to shift gears. This was all for a good reason, and that was to put you on the right course.

Look ahead with hope, invest in the long-term, and build new platforms in your life. Whatever was lost can be replaced with much better. You are making important, positive shifts. Have faith.

February is set to be a tad dramatic… (Picture: Getty/

Tarot cards for Libra for February: Ten of Swords, Knight of Wands, The Tower

Meaning: An ending leads to lots of beginnings.

A rather dramatic and game-changing month lies ahead, Libra, but fear not, because it’s all about sweeping away the old, fading, and stale energy in your world so that fresh, new, inspiring vibes can enter and enliven you.

The Tower brings an event or revelation that rocks your world a bit, and perhaps causes the collapse of something. It will be a bit of a shocker but it’s for the best and, deep down, you wanted this to end. There is relief here.

And the Ten of Swords reinforces this ending is right, necessary, and possibly even overdue. You are free at last.

What to do with it? Well, the Knight of Wands asks you to start a few adventures. Use your liberty to broaden your horizons, seek fresh scenes and people, travel, go out of your comfort zone, visit different places, try a new activity or two.

Open up and let the world in.

Relax and let go of conflict, Scorpio (Picture: Getty/

Tarot cards for Scorpio for Three of Cups, Five of Swords, Six of Wamds:

Meaning: Make light out of darkness.

Laugh your way out of a row. See the funny side. Let humour reduce the tension and bring you both back together. This will work.

The Five of Swords sees you in mortal combat with someone, it’s gone on long enough and you’re tired of fighting. You wish this could just be over, and things be how they used to be. Well, they can.

The Six of Wands points the way to victory, and it’s not by beating them or gaining an upper hand again. It’s via humour, fun and laughter.

The Three of Cups is the pleasure, good times, and happy days card. Create something nice for you both. Crack a joke. Show vulnerability. Be self-depreciating. Show that the aggression, bitterness, or anger has gone and be super cute and fluffy.

I bet you they’ll be more relieved than you know, and pick up the cues quickly. Things will improve fast.

November 23 to December 21

Time to face the truth (Picture: Getty/

Tarot cards for Sagittarius for February: Ace of Swords, The Devil, Three of Swords

Meaning: Brutal truths.

This is a tough-talkin’ trio of cards that basically ask you to own up to and face your own demons, and be honest about what you do, why, and how it makes you feel. Expose your darkest secrets (to a confidant or even a journal) and know thyself. This is the first step to positive change.

The Devil shows you’re in a pattern of self-sabotage, engaged in something you long to escape from, repeating a bad habit, toxic relationship, or self-limiting belief. It’s dragging you down. And you know it.

The Ace of Swords shows you’re ready to reveal this, and talk to someone about it, get it off your chest and out into the open.

The Three of Swords asks you to talk things through, and then form a plan to surgically remove this toxicity from your life. It will start this month and might take two or three months more to fully crack it, but after that you’ll be free.

Doesn’t that feel inspiring? Yes, so make a start.

December 22 to January 21

Focus in on your home (Picture: Getty Images/iStockphoto)

Tarot cards for Capricorn for February: The World, Knight of Cups, Seven of Coins

Meaning: A new home dream

A long-term plan is forming in your mind, and heart, about a future home or location move. This isn’t out of necessity, but inspiration and optimism. This is about creating a forever home plan.

The World and Seven of Coins combine to show you’re projecting yourself into a long-term future scenario regarding where you live.

You are daydreaming and fantasising here, this isn’t a practical or even sensible flight of fancy, this is blue sky thinking at its best. And why not? You work hard, and you’re good at saving and investing. You can make a dream come true, you know. Overseas is definitely in scope.

The Knight of Cups asks you to immerse in your homely daydreams. Create a vision of an ideal home and location, mood board it, brainstorm it. Let it take shape in your mind’s eye because I think this is going to be your next big thing to low-key work on, in the background. It will take time but that’s okay.

Stay strong, Aquarius (Picture: Getty Images/iStockphoto)

Tarot cards for Aquarius for February: Nine of Wands, Seven of Swords, Justice

Meaning: Resolution.

You’ve felt like the knives have been out for you recently, from some quarters, and it hurts your feelings to know people don’t necessarily like you or aren’t acting fairly towards you. This is on them, not you. Don’t take it too personally.

The Seven of Swords asks you to withdraw, retreat and shield yourself from those who are on the attack.

Justice reveals all will come to a head this February and the issue will be resolved, at a root cause level, in your favour. Justice is served, good karma is restored, and the balance returns to an even keel. Don’t get petty or nasty – take the high road and move along

The Nine of Wands shows the worst is already over, and any further friction is just the dying throes of a faded and pointless feud. Let it die out now. And move on. Head high.

Tarot cards for Pisces for February: Four of Swords, King of Coins, The Chariot

Meaning: Rest and then work.

This is a month of two halves, Pisces, which begins with deep rest and ends in major action. Are you ready?

The Four of Swords shows you’re ready for a little time out, seeking respite and solitude, resting and relaxing as much as you can and limiting how much you commit to or schedule in the diary. You’re just thinking and planning.

The King of Coins and the busy Chariot card combine to make the later half of the month very purposeful and significant. Health, wealth, and home are on your mind, and The Chariot shows you’re focusing with intent on making big changes in these areas, for the better.

A change of location or role is possible, apply for what inspires you. A firmer grip on your finances. A new regime in your wellbeing world emerges. It’s all happening.
