Is anyone else growing tired of Zoom quizzes?
Well, Stepney City Farm has come up with a brilliant idea to make video calls more enjoyable again.
The city farm is offering virtual ‘meet-and-greets’ with some of its adorable four-legged residents.
These personalised Zoom calls are led by farm yard manager Tom Goody, who takes guests on a whistle-stop tour of the site, visiting lambs, goat kids and donkeys.
This standard 25-minute private tour asks for a £200 donation – but there are two other types available.
Stepney City Farm is also offering a £100 10-minute Corporate Meeting Cameo whereby Tom will make a surprise appearance in a meeting with some lambs, goats, donkeys, pigs, rabbits, ducks or chickens.
Those looking to really push the boat out can opt for the 45-minute Full Farm Tour, which asks for a £600 donation. This includes meeting all of the farm’s animals and features historical facts about the property.
The London venue stresses that tours can be for an unlimited number of participants and organisers can accommodate different video call platforms.
Anyone wanting to book simply needs to email the venue to check availability.
For more animal-fuelled fun, the farm also hosts Instagram Lives on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm, as well as £5 yoga sessions on Thursdays at 6pm.
But it’s not just Stepney City Farm that’s getting creative with video calls in lockdown.
It’s now possible for parents in quarantine to hire a Disney princess over Zoom – thanks to entertainment company Princess & Me Parties.
These princess playtime calls last around 45 minutes and can be enjoyed anywhere in the world.
Each session is designed to keep little ones fully engaged – be it through storytelling, colouring in, Q&As, dancing, games and more.
