The PGA Tour has begun its run of two straight events at Muirfield Village Golf Club this week with the Workday Charity Open, a new event created to replace the John Deere Classic.
Collin Morikawa leads the inaugural event by one shot after shooting an opening-round 65. Adam Hadwin in solo second at 6 under while Zach Johnson sits in a four-way tie for third at 5 under.
The featured groups are strong this week and they include Justin Thomas with Brooks Koepka and Jason Day; Patrick Cantlay with Phil Mickelson and Jordan Spieth; Patrick Reed with Matthew Wolff and Rickie Fowler; and Viktor Hovland with Jon Rahm and Gary Woodland.
