Bradley Beal will be out for the Wizards’ Saturday night game against the Heat after close on-court contact with Celtics star Jayson Tatum on Friday, who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier Saturday, sources tell The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Beal has tested negative and the contact/contact tracing are due to on-court proximity to Tatum following the game, a source told The Athletic.
Tatum is quarantining for 10-14 days after his positive test, sources told Charania earlier on Saturday.
This is a developing story. More to come.
