Will Biden’s Electric Vehicle Plan Really Fight Climate Change?

This episode of What’s Ahead deals with a shocking question: Are electric vehicles really the wave of the future?

So far, drivers haven’t been impressed. Despite massive subsidies, EVs hold only 3% of the global market.

One fundamental obstacle is that it takes hours to recharge an EV vs. a few minutes at the gas pump to fill a traditional car’s fuel tank.

The rationale for pushing EVs was to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. But there’s growing evidence that when you factor in the emissions created by mining the minerals and manufacturing the parts for putting together an electric vehicle, especially the battery, this may not be the case.

There’s no need to despair. Very impressive progress is already being made on making internal-combustion engines that are 50% more fuel-efficient.

Key to his platform were a flat tax, medical savings accounts, a new Social Security system for working Americans, parental choice of schools for their children, term limits and a strong national defense. Steve continues to energetically promote this agenda.
