Why Andy Murray can 'benefit' from coronavirus tennis break – Boris Becker

Becker told Laureus.com: “I think Murray will benefit because he isn’t fully fit yet after his hip surgery and the long break is actually good for his recovery, so he’s not losing ground.”

Meanwhile, Murray has been opening up about the pressures of playing an individual sport compared to team sports.

The three-time Grand Slam champion was speaking to Manchester United star Marcus Rashford and said he enjoys the feeling of knowing it is all down to him.

“One of the nice things about an individual sport is that the outcome of the match is solely reliant on you, so if you go out and have a great performance, the chances are that you win,” Murray said.
