Who are your UGA breakout players for 2021 that didn’t play much in 2020? Georgia mailbag


Georgia begins spring practice next week. The weather is great. Vaccines are rolling out. My daughter’s T-ball team has its first game on Saturday, also featuring the head coaching debut of Coach Emerson, and Georgia coaches who also have kids in Little League are invited to stop by and hoist me on my own petard.

Let’s delve into some questions of the day, Georgia style:

Who are your breakout players that were on the roster last year that didn’t play much?

This is an evergreen question any year because college football has so much turnover. So just to be clear, this does not include everybody who is due for more playing time — especially on defense — but my list of five players who could really make a jump into difference-makers:
