In the final weeks of the regular season with the playoffs in sight, Steve Nash navigated the Nets roster to the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference with one overarching goal: To be fully healthy in time for the playoffs.
Nash months earlier had parted ways with the hope that Brooklyn would get the proper runway to develop a rapport heading into the most important postseason in franchise history. But he found ways to win with a combination of, in some cases, just one of the star players he had available to them while routinely finding success with his reserves.
Heading into the playoffs, Nash got his wish, and the Nets went into their first-round matchup against Boston with their big three of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden all healthy.
