Mr. Misunderstood wins the 2018 River City
A pair of Grade 3 stakes top the racing action this Saturday in North America, starting with the River City Handicap at Churchill Downs. Mr. Misunderstood is the 5-2 favorite in the field of 10, and the Churchill specialist will be trying to repeat in the River City and earn his first win of the 2019 season.
Later on Saturday, a field of five 2-year-olds will compete at Del Mar. Led by Bob Baffert trainee Thousand Words and Doug O’Neill trainee Strongconstitution, the Bob Hope Stakes will be run over seven furlongs on the main track.
