Watch: Dwayne Haskins tosses 55-yard TD

Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins struggled big-time in his initial NFL action last week.

It didn’t take long for the rookie first-round pick to atone for that. Taking on the Cincinnati Bengals Thursday evening, Haskins looked strong once he took over for Case Keenum under center.

That included this absolutely brilliant 55-yard touchdown strike to wide receiver Robert Davis.

Haskins stood strong in the pocket as he faced pressure form Bengals rookie linebacker Germaine Pratt. He delivered a strike in the process. That really is something to behold.

A few plays earlier, Haskins missed Davis a bit high on an intermediate route. That has been the case for the rookie thus far this summer. But to deliver a strike with pressure in his face shows the improvement we’ve seen from the young quarterback from Week 1 of the preseason.
