Watch: Clippers' Paul George narrates beautiful Kobe Bryant tribute

The Los Angeles Clippers game slated for Tuesday against the Lakers was postponed . It came days after NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter were among nine killed in a helicopter accident in Southern California.

For the first time since Kobe’s tragic passing at the age of 41, the Clippers have taken to the court.

It came at home against the Sacramento Kings Thursday evening. Prior to the game, Clippers star and Los Angeles native Paul George narrated one of the most emotional tributes to Mr. Bryant that we’ve seen.

Twelve years younger than Bryant, George, a Palmdale, Calif., native, grew up idolizing his fallen mentor. You can tell by this video that George was the perfect Clippers player to pay tribute.

He also wore Bryant’s No. 8 jersey during warmups Thursday night with teammate Kawhi Leonard sporting Bryant’s No. 24.

Sometimes things happen in life that are bigger than sports. Seeing the Clippers pay their respects to Bryant is a prime example of this. For at least a little while, the NBA world is one.
