Washington likely moving on from right tackle Morgan Moses

The days of Morgan Moses being in a Washington Football Team uniform may be numbered. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Washington is likely to move on from their starting right tackle and has granted his agent permission to seek a trade.

If a trade is not made, he is likely to be released. Moses is due $7.5 million in the 2021 season. If Washington moves on via trade or release, they’ll save $5.6 million against the salary cap.

Moses has two years remaining on a five-year, $38.5 million deal.

The decision to move on from Moses comes as a huge surprise to many. A third round pick of Washington in 2014, Moses has started every game since 2015. He has invested in his body and been able to play through injuries.
