NBA Draft workout season has been in overdrive for about five months now, with very few videos trickling out showcasing the improvements that prospects have made over that time. Give young basketball players five months in a gym with elite trainers — sometimes for the first time in their lives — and the possibility exists for some to look markedly different in some facet of their games.

Take Tyler Herro for example. He was good enough to be taken in the lottery, but clearly not good enough to be a no-brainer prospect. After all, SEC coaches voted at least eight players ahead of him for First Team All-SEC. He was great, but not elite. But over the course of the last 16 months, he’s improved his handle, improved his footwork and become more capable of putting himself into high-leverage pull-up situations.
