US Open radio coverage: How to listen to the tennis live on the radio

The US Open is here and Express Sport is on hand with all the radio coverage.

Novak Djokovic arrives at the US Open as the reigning men’s champion.

The Serbian is also chasing his 17th Grand Slam title as he attempts to close the gap on Roger Federer’s 20 and Rafael Nadal’s 18.

“It does put a certain level of responsibility to me, as well, because I am aiming to do that,” Djokovic said. “It’s definitely one of my ambitions and goals, if you want.

“Especially now, more or less everything is about Grand Slams, in terms of how I see tennis and how I approach them because they matter the most.”

He added: “I personally have enjoyed lots of success and have been blessed to play well on these courts here in the US Open, especially the Arthur Ashe.

“I have not lost too many matches in my career playing night session, and a lot of matches that I get to play in Arthur Ashe are night sessions. So I really do enjoy that loud atmosphere that happens in there.”

Naomi Osaka, meanwhile, feels optimistic about her US Open defence despite initial concerns over a knee injury.

“It’s getting better. I have been playing more, [and] longer every day,” Osaka said.

“It’s feeling better. Luckily I’m a fast healer, so I think it’s looking good.”
