The US Open is starting to take shape now as the third round gets underway today.
Roger Federer has looked sluggish through his opening two rounds and faces a familiar face in Britain’s Dan Evans first up on Arthur Ashe Stadium today.
Serena Williams survived a scare against fellow American Cary McNally but looks in good form to reach a 10th US Open final.
Johanna Konta showcased her title credentials with a confident second round win and faces Shuai Zhang for a place in the fourth round, an opponent she has beaten four out of five times.
And world No 1 Novak Djokovic looks in excellent form having not dropped a set, with a third-round tie against Denis Kudla taking place last on Arthur Ashe this evening.
