Unsatisfied with last season, Bo Bichette is aiming high as Blue Jays camp opens


Bo Bichette has high expectations for himself.

This is true of many elite-level professional athletes, perhaps even more so for a person whose father played 14 years in the major leagues.

In August 2019, about a month into his first season, when he was breaking rookie records left and right, Bo Bichette sat down with The Athletic and, among other things, said it was his desire “to be one of the best players that ever lived.” He cited Mike Trout as an inspiration.
