ANTOINE GRIEZMANN wants Barcelona to push ahead with the “complex” signing of Neymar.
With the Catalans and Real Madrid keeping an eye on the Brazilian’s situation, he joined his Paris Saint-Germain teammates in flying to China on Tuesday.
The player posed in sunglasses alongside Kylian Mbappe in a PSG squad photo posted onto Instagram.
One of the sagas of the summer has involved Neymar’s demands to leave the Ligue 1 champions.
Coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed the winger’s request came before the Copa America but still no buyer has been found.
Former club Barcelona remain in the hunt despite handing over £108million for Griezmann, and the Frenchman praised Neymar in conversation with Sky Sports.
He said: “Before talking about it first they would have to complete the deal because it’s a complex transfer.
“He’s a good player. He had a couple of injuries but he’s at an incredible level.
“We also have [Ousmane] Dembele, [Philippe] Coutinho and Malcom, who are important for us and we hope to do great things with them.”
The summer’s biggest spenders so far, Madrid, are said to be long-term admirers of the former Barca man.
Reports earlier in the week outlined a big offer for PSG to sell Neymar, containing £80m plus outcast winger Gareth Bale.
And Neymar fuelled the speculation recently by labelling Real captain Sergio Ramos an “excellent defender”.
He also outlined how fellow Brazilian and Madrid starlet Vinicius Jr will: “become one of the best [and] compete for the Ballon d’Or.”
