Tyson hires senior brand manager for fresh meats



SPRINGDALE, ARK. — Tyson Foods Inc. has announced Britney Banuelos will join the company’s beef and pork subsidiary, Tyson Fresh Meats Inc. as senior brand manager, Fresh Meats Marketing. In her new role, Ms. Banuelos will lead marketing efforts on beef and pork programs, including brand positioning, new product development, cooperative sales tools and multichannel marketing campaigns.

A 12-year veteran of the industry, Ms. Banuelos most recently led key marketing initiatives for the Smithfield fresh pork portfolio, supporting programs including natural pork and marinated pork. Prior to that role, Ms. Banuelos was an operations supervisor for Farmer John in Los Angeles.

She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California Polytechnic State University and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt.

“Britney brings a unique blend of operations and marketing expertise to the team, and we are thrilled she has joined us,” said Ozlem Worpel, director of Fresh Meats Marketing at Tyson Fresh Meats.
