The first day of summer may technically be June 20, but Truly beat the solstice to the punch this year by releasing hard seltzer ice pops to welcome the longer, hotter days with open arms. After word about the boozy treats began disseminating in mid-May, they finally made their debut on Tuesday, and our mouths are watering just looking at the packaging. The flavors are based on Truly’s spiked lemonade pack and include Original Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, and Mango Lemonade, the latter of which sounds particularly refreshing. Each pop contains just 80 calories and five percent ABV, which is the same amount each can of Truly boasts.
We do have to mention one slight catch, however. Due to limited supply, Truly’s new alcoholic ice pops are only available in the following 27 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
