FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Total Tech Summit, originally slated to be held Nov. 9-11 in Cleveland, has been canceled due to circumstances arising from the coronavirus pandemic. The event — which comprises the SSI Summit, held in conjunction with the CE Pro Summit and Commercial Integrator Summit — will instead be hosted online in December.
The event and the publications are owned by Emerald, a leader in building dynamic market platforms that integrate live events and media into uniquely rich experiences.
Each year, the invitation-only, all-expense-paid Total Tech Summit is host to more than 300 business leaders from the nation’s most progressive integration companies, where they work on growing and improving their already outstanding companies.
The cancellation of the 2020 in-person Total Tech Summit event is due to developments regarding the ongoing progression of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the latest government data, measures and guidelines on the phased reopening plans in the U.S.; current restrictions on congregating and large gatherings imposed by states and other government and public health authorities; and the various company-imposed travel restrictions on employees affecting attendees and participating companies.
“While we are extremely disappointed that we won’t be able to meet in person this year, our commitment to bringing together the integration community for learning, business building and partnership creation is stronger than ever,” Emerald states in an announcement.
In place of the live event, Total Tech Summit Virtual will be presented as an online experience, broken into six, two-day installments on the following dates:
- SSI Summit East: Dec 1
- SSI Summit West: Dec 3-4
- CE Pro Summit East: Dec 7-8
- CE Pro Summit West: Dec 9-10
- CI Summit East: Dec 14-15
- CI Summit West: Dec 16-17
