On Sunday night following Tampa Bay’s 30-20 win over New Orleans, the NFL Network’s James Palmer was on the field of the Superdome interviewing Buccaneers linebacker Devin White after White’s big performance against New Orleans. After the interview was concluded, Palmer surmised that heading back to the main press box for the Bucs’ postgame Zoom interview sessions was going to be a time-consuming prospect given the setup of the stadium. So Palmer opted for a workroom on the concourse level of the Superdome to listen in on the postgame thoughts of Tampa’s players.
Upon the conclusion of those interviews, Palmer checked his phone and saw on Twitter that Saints quarterback Drew Brees was on the field with his family.
