Three roster weaknesses the Celtics must fix to help Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown


On the day he took his new job as Celtics president of basketball operations, Brad Stevens said his knowledge of the team would aid him in reshaping the roster.

“I feel like I’ve got a good idea of what we do well, what we don’t do so well,” Stevens said. “And I’ve been doing this for eight years. I’ve been in that locker room with some of those guys for a long time.”

With all of that experience, Stevens should know as well as anybody what the Celtics need moving forward. The organization will more than likely be building around young All-Stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown but needs to surround them with a better-fitting roster. Here are three weaknesses the Celtics need to address around their two stars.
