Alain Vigneault

This week on The Hockey News On The ‘Q’ Podcast with Will MacLaren and Jamie Tozer:

– The QMJHL announced its 2023 Hall of Fame class. Alain Vigneault, Stephane Richer and Dave Ezard will be inducted at the same time as the class of 2022 (Roberto Luongo, Stephane Robidas, Rick Vaive, Simon Gamache and Clem Jodion) in June 2023. Who else should we expect to see inducted in the coming years?

– Nine QMJHL players were named to Team Canada’s world juniors camp. Who’s most likely to earn a spot?

– Emmanuel Vermette is the 2023 NHL draft eligible prospect of the week. The left winger for the Chicoutimi Sagueneens is a “C” ranked prospect who’s got 20 points in 24 games so far this season.

– While there are no current Vancouver Canucks prospects in the QMJHL, they do have three former ‘Q’ players in the NHL and AHL.

– And more, including a dig into the mailbag.
