There are chores I find weirdly therapeutic (i.e. washing dishes), and others I dread having to do. Vacuuming falls under the second category. I love clean floors, but I’m not always ready for the arm workout. My current vacuum cleaner comes with a handle and a stretch hose that I have to move the entire time, and as the process typically takes 30 minutes, you can feel my pain.
That’s why I’m so intrigued by this self-emptying Shark IQ Robot ($320). Yes, you heard that right: it cleans itself and it’s on sale today for Black Friday.
Moreover, it’s voice-controlled; can hold up to 30 days of dirt and debris; and will move from one to room for a deep cleaning — with little to no input from you. Does it get any better?
You bet I’m replacing mine after this.
