The Wizards can’t tinker along the margins — they owe Bradley Beal some big offseason moves


Let’s start with what can’t happen now.

The Wizards can’t, and won’t, trade Bradley Beal this summer.

But the front office has to continue to make the roster around him and Russell Westbrook better.

“D.C.’s an unbelievable market, a true sports town. I don’t see why nobody wouldn’t want to be interested in coming to D.C.,” Beal said after his team’s season ended Wednesday, suffocated by the wingspan and experience of the 76ers in five games.
