The top 125 NBA players: The Athletic’s Player Tiers, Tier 4 — from Brandon Ingram to Zach LaVine

In a typical season, between 35 and 45 players produce at a level consistent with placement in Tier 4 and includes those who are expected to provide between approximately the 40th to 80th most championship impact. In practical terms, these are generally very good players, some of whom might grab an All-Star slot or two, but are not (or in the case of some are no longer) in the “perennial All-Star” conversation. Given starter-type minutes, this group will bring somewhere between four and seven wins per season, translating to production worth between around $13 million and $23 million per season in (projected) 2020 dollars.
