J.J. Redick has retired from the NBA.
The 37-year-old sharpshooter made the announcement on the latest episode of his podcast, saying he is walking away from the game to spend more time with his family. “I have some clarity now,” Redick said. “And I know it’s time. It’s time for me to be a dad. It’s time for me to reflect, to pause, and it’s time for me to get ready for the next phase of my life.”
