The 'Most recent NBA Finals coaches' quiz

Things have not gone to plan for the Los Angeles Lakers this season. Initially expected to compete for the top spot in the Western Conference, the team is 22-22, good for only seventh place out West. Magic Johnson isn’t happy. Neither is LeBron James. Struggling LeBron-led teams rarely stand pat, and if there is a fall guy coming, it looks like it will be head coach Frank Vogel. In his first season as Lakers coach, Vogel famously helped L.A. win a championship in the bubble, but in the two seasons since, the team is not much better than a .500 squad. If Vogel were to be let go, former Knicks coach and current Lakers assistant David Fizdale would likely take over in hopes that he’d be able to salvage the season, but given how competitive the West is once again, a head coaching change may just be too little, too late for the Lake Show.

Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. As of the end of last season, 24 of the current 30 NBA teams have reached at least one NBA Finals. So with that in mind, can you name the last coach to lead them there?

Good luck!
