Congratulations to Washington Wizards guard Russell Westbrook who over the weekend tied Oscar Robertson for the most career triple-doubles in NBA history. In his first season in D.C, Westbrook is averaging a triple-double for the fourth time in his career. These aren’t just empty calorie stats either. The recent play of Russ and Bradley Beal have the Wizards in position to nab a spot in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament. And if you’re one of the top seeds, the last thing you want to see is a rejuvenated Russ in a first-round matchup.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Throughout NBA history, 27 different players have recorded 20 or more triple-doubles over the course of their careers. Westbrook has 35 this season. So with that in mind, how many of the NBA’s career leaders in triple-doubles can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
