Congratulations to Portland Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony who on Monday moved into 10th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. Melo admitted that it was a ‘special moment’, and it’s not difficult to understand why. Two seasons ago, Anthony played in just 10 games for the Houston Rockets. To most, that looked to be it for Melo, but he was able to reinvent himself as a sixth man in Portland after famously refusing to do so in OKC. The move has paid off handsomely, not only extending the 36-year-old’s time in the Association, but also allowing him to continue to chase the ring that has eluded him throughout his 20-year career.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Melo is just one of three active players currently in the top 30 for career points scored in the regular season. So with that in mind, how many of the NBA’s top 30 career scorers can you name in five minutes?
