That wine Phil Mickelson drank out of the Wanamaker Trophy? It's $450 a bottle and it has sold out

What will Phil Mickelson sell next?

Seems that Lefty is pretty good at moving product, we know this. His latest move helped make a $450 bottle of wine a best seller.

In a video posted on Tuesday, Mickelson celebrated his wife’s birthday by drinking wine out of the Wanamaker Trophy, which he won at the PGA Championship nine days earlier.

He explained that his wine of choice is Black Magic, a Cabernet Sauvignon produced by Tor Wines in St. Helena, which is in the Napa Valley.

According to a story in the San Francisco Chronicle, Black Magic is the most expensive wine Tor makes, and now it’s their fastest selling. Winemaker Tor Kenward told the Chronicle that they only made about 3,000 bottles of the wine in the first place and they were down to about 15 cases at the winery when Lefty posted his video.

If you missed out on a bottle, the 2019 Black Magic will be released this fall.
