Actors Ted Danson and Jane Fonda were arrested Friday during a climate change protest on Capitol Hill, the latest such demonstration in the last several weeks.
“The oceans are rising, and so are we,” the “Good Place” and “Grace and Frankie” actors could be seen chanting with fellow protesters.

Both actors were seen being placed in zip ties and led away by U.S. Capitol Police during the demonstration, to applause from other activists.
Fonda has appeared at a bevy of such protests, having already been arrested multiple times this month.
The Academy Award-winner told The Washington Post earlier this month that she planned on being detained while protesting in Washington every Friday for the next 14 weeks.
“I’m going to take my body, which is kind of famous and popular right now because of the series, and I’m going to go to D.C. and I’m going to have a rally every Friday,” Fonda said.
“It’ll be called ‘Fire Drill Friday,’” she said. “And we’re going to engage in civil disobedience and we’re going to get arrested every Friday.”
Sam Waterston, Fonda’s “Grace and Frankie” co-star who garnered fame on “Law & Order,” was also arrested during a protest with Fonda earlier this month.
